HIDDY HO NEIGHBOR - games tables

This wonderful pair of tables were bought from the neighbor's barn sale.
One bottom self was broke but quickly repaired with new dowels and glue.

I loved the detail on the top and wanted to emphasize it with the new look.

Being able to put them together to make one round table or separately against the wall,
they are very handy just about anywhere you want to use them.

There were stained with a dark walnut and painted in a creamy white before distressing and waxing.

I really enjoyed this project
because I was able to take each table completely
apart to work on.

I think they would be great bedside tables for a spare room.

FUN WITH PHOTOGRAPHY - french coffee table

This solid maple table was painted with
10 min dry EXCEL spray paint in Oyster Grey.

It's a beautiful color and the paint provides a
remarkable hard, durable, and professional finish.
Unfortunetly it is hard to find and has a
very strong odor when first applied.

TEA ANYONE?
The view is amazing!

I'm sharing the view at:

REUPHOLSTERED equals BLOODY KNUCKLES - chair makeover

Beautifully carved floral details. Don't you just love button tufting.

Wood carved ball feet with heavy curving legs.

However a shade somewhere between rose
and heavy mauve.
It still has beautifully carved floral details.Still has those ball feet with heavy curved legs.
Of course the button tufting stays.

But the COLOR had to change.
Pink parlour chair $30
Six yards of new trim $20
Vintage coverlet already owned
Stapler, staples, & glue gun waiting
